Alberta Canola is pleased to welcome Yulia Karimova as our new Communications and Events Coordinator.
Yulia is a communications professional who is passionate about connecting people, organizing events, and telling stories that matter. Her diverse career has spanned fintech, banking, and real estate, where she built expertise in communications, stakeholder engagement, and event coordination. Among her accomplishments, Yulia contributed to the growth of a money transfer app that reached more than 10 million installs across Europe and Asia.
As Alberta Canola’s Communications and Events Coordinator, Yulia will support communications initiatives, help organize events that bring the canola community together, and share the stories of Alberta’s canola farmers and industry partners.
Yulia is excited to join Alberta’s canola community, learn more about the industry, and put her experience to work supporting farmers across the province.
Outside of work, Yulia enjoys spending time outdoors, taking long walks, and discovering new places to explore.
