An auction hosted by Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers in Maymont, Saskatchewan on April 18 was highlighted by a John Deere combine selling for more than $180,000.

A 2009 John Deere 9770STS combine sold for $183,000.

Specs: 1,807 engine hours, 1,337 separator hours, 615P hdr, VSR, auto HHC, grain tank exts, chopper, Command Center display, 520X85R38 F, 480X85R26 R, duals.

A 2000 John Deere 9300 4WD tractor sold for $105,000.

Specs: 4,698 hours, 360 hp, 12 spd, Outback display, S&E Drive autosteer, 4 hyd outlets, aux outlet, rear wheel weights, 620/70R42 duals.

A 2009 John Deere 7330 MFWD tractor sold for $87,500.

The 12-day war between Iran-Israel came to an end sending crude oil futures plunging as the big fund speculators removed the war risk premium.

June 1 USDA Hogs and pigs report was slightly bearish while the U.S. $ Index traded to new contract lows as the de-dollarization that began in 2014 continues.

Feed in the form of soybean meal futures for livestock producers got cheaper, trading to new contract lows.

The Stats Canada seeded acreage update was bullish canola and wheat.
