John Deere tractors and combines highlighted a Ritchie Bros. auction held in Kansas City, Missouri on August 2.

A 2012 John Deere 8335RT tractor sold for $162,500.

A 2014 John Deere 8245R MFWD tractor sold for $160,000.

Specs: 236 hours, 16 spd powershift, diff lock, A/C cab, 4 hyd outlets, 540/1000 PTO, Q/C 3 pt hitch, ag hitch, frt weights, rear wheel weights, 420/85R34 F, 480/80R50 R, duals, Gen IV CommandCenter, radar, elec mirrors.

A 2012 John Deere S680 combine sold for $157,500.

Feed in the form of soybean meal futures for livestock producers got cheaper, trading to new contract lows.

The Stats Canada seeded acreage update was bullish canola and wheat.
