New Garden Utility Vehicle and Garden Utility Stand introduced.

Moving heavy or awkward purchases from your car to your house or apartment just became a lot easier. The solution is THE G.U.V.™, a light (less than four pounds), durable and strong (up to 100 pound weight capacity) utility hauler that works great with five gallon water jugs, fifty pound bags of lawn fertilizer, full leaf or garbage bags, or any heavy or bulky item. THE G.U.V.™ moves them easily, takes up little space in the trunk of your car or truck, and is there when you need it.  There's no easier way to avoid the strain of carrying a heavy or awkward item from your car to your home.

THE G.U.V.™ is available through www.citykraft.ca for $24.99, plus shipping and handling. CityKraft also expects THE G.U.V.™ to be available through leading home and garden retailers, as well as TV shopping channels, in the coming months.

THE G.U.V.™ is approximately 20 in. (l) x 14.75 (w) in. x 7 in. (h) / 50 cm (l) x 37.5 cm (w) x 17.5 cm (h) and weighs three-and-a-half pounds (1.6 kg.) The product is "green"-manufactured in North America of high-density polyethylene made from 100-percent recycled plastic.

CityKraft also markets a companion product called THE G.U.S. (Garden Utility Stand). THE G.U.S. allows leaf bags to be stored at home side, or when transported to a curb or driveway with THE G.U.V., without the bottom soaking through or the bags tipping. THE G.U.S. can be nested for easy storage.

In introducing the new product, CityKraft President Bill Cooper commented, "THE G.U.V. is an innovative solution to an age-old problem. Consumer demand led directly to its development and marketing."

Evolution of Beef Cattle Farming

Video: Evolution of Beef Cattle Farming

The Clear Conversations podcast took to the road for a special episode recorded in Nashville during CattleCon, bringing listeners straight into the heart of the cattle industry. Host Tracy Sellers welcomed rancher Steve Wooten of Beatty Canyon Ranch in Colorado for a wide-ranging discussion that blended family history and sustainability, particularly as it relates to the future of beef production.

Sustainability emerged as a central theme of the conversation, a word that Wooten acknowledges can mean very different things depending on who you ask. For him, sustainability starts with the soil. Healthy soil produces healthy grass, which supports efficient cattle capable of producing year after year with minimal external inputs. It’s an approach that equally considers vegetation, animal efficiency, and long-term profitability.

That philosophy aligned naturally with Wooten’s involvement in the U.S. Roundtable for Sustainable Beef, where he served as a representative for the Colorado Cattlemen’s Association. The roundtable brings together the entire beef supply chain—from producers to retailers—along with universities, NGOs, and allied industries. Its goal is not regulation, Wooten emphasized, but collaboration, shared learning, and continuous improvement.
