Ag Items Included In Throne Speech

There were a few ag related items mentioned in Tuesday's Speech from the Throne.
 
One of the key committments highlighted by the Pallister government included eliminating the education portion of property taxes. The phase-out will begin the first year after the budget is balanced, and will be completed over a maximum of 10 years.
 
The province also announced it will be launching the Partners in Economic Growth initiative with a focus on the province’s areas of economic strength including agriculture, aerospace and technology.
