Auto Industry Veteran Acquires New Holland Dealer Conroy Tractor

IRVINE, Calif. — Performance Brokerage Services, North America’s highest volume dealership brokerage firm, is pleased to announce the sale of Conroy Tractor in Mount Pleasant, Texas from Jarred Conroy to Rick Ford.

Conroy Tractor has been family-owned and operated for more than 60 years, under three generations of leadership. Established in 1960 by John and Christine Conroy, Conroy Tractor is the oldest family-owned New Holland dealership in Northeast Texas.

The dealership currently offers New Holland and Mahindra Agriculture and New Holland Construction equipment.

Following the sale, third-generation owner, Jarred Conroy, commented, “I was contacted by Pat Albero from Performance Brokerage Services because he had an interested buyer looking for an equipment dealership in East Texas. The timing couldn’t have been better! Pat has been excellent to work with throughout the entire transaction. He was always available to answer questions, and he guided me through the process of selling my dealership. I would highly recommend Pat Albero and Performance Brokerage Services if you are exploring the sale of your dealership. You will be happy you made the call.”

Pat Albero, the exclusive agent for this transaction and head of the Equipment Division for Performance Brokerage Services commented, “Rick Ford and his two sons, Chris and Chase, expressed interest in acquiring a local construction and agriculture dealership. They use equipment to operate their Texas ranch and were passionate about the opportunity to serve their local market. Over the past 60 years, the Conroy Family has operated Conroy Tractor on a foundation of honor and integrity, fundamentals shared by Rick and his sons. Jarred Conroy found Rick Ford to be a buyer that will remain committed to his vision and taking care of his staff. I would like to personally thank the Ford family for entrusting us to represent them through this acquisition. Additionally, I would like to thank Jarred for his willingness to explore the possibility of a sale. I am honored to have been involved in this life changing event!”
