China Continues To Restrict Canola Seed From Canada

China is continuing to restrict access of canola seed coming from Canada.

Jim Everson, president of the Canola Council of Canada, says not much has changed in recent months.

"It fluctuated a bit. We would say that about a third of what we had normally been exporting or been used to exporting up until the January 2019 period is still about right. There is some seed going there but it's about a third on an ongoing basis."

Everson says its clear that canola has been impacted by political motives.
