Crop Progress: Winter Wheat at 60% Good-Excellent Condition

For the week ending Feb. 25, 2024, topsoil moisture supplies rated 7% very short, 30% short, 61% adequate and 2% surplus, according to the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service. Subsoil moisture supplies rated 10% very short, 41% short, 48% adequate and 1% surplus.

Field Crops Report:

Winter wheat condition rated 2% very poor, 5% poor, 33% fair, 48% good and 12% excellent.

The next report will be issued March 25, 2024.
