Exporting Agri-Food Products To Japan

Alberta Agriculture and Forestry (AF) is presenting the first installment in its new Exporting To Northeast Asia webinar series. Exporting Agri-food Products to Japan takes place on Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at 5:30 p.m. (Mountain Time).
 
“The presenter for this webinar is Mary Beth Takao, who is an agriculture commercial officer in the Alberta Japan Office,” says Katie Meredith, trade and relations officer, AF, Edmonton. “She will be giving an overview of the Japanese market, and discussing key opportunities, the export process and key considerations for success in this market.”
 
Japan is Alberta’s third largest export market for agriculture and food products. In 2014, the value of agri-food exports from Alberta to Japan totaled $1.2 billion.
