Farm managers can now offset costs involved with farm safety training through a Growing Forward 2 grant called the Business Management Skills Development Program. Through this grant, successful applicants can receive reimbursement for up to 75 per cent of eligible costs for approved business skills development training courses. Sharon Stollery is the manager of Alberta Agriculture’s farm safety program.
