Hay & Forage Finder Connects Buyers & Sellers

To help connect suppliers of hay and forage with those in need, SDSU Extension hosts a Facebook group called "SDSU Extension Feed & Forage Finder."

The Facebook group, SDSU Extension Feed & Forage Finder, is open to anyone that is interested in either buying or selling hay or feedstuffs. These listings can include baled hay, straw or silage as well as individuals seeking pasture to rent, custom feeding or custom grazing arrangements, explained Warren Rusche, SDSU Extension Cow/Calf Field Specialist.

"Our purpose for starting this Facebook group was to provide a low-cost way for buyers and sellers to connect. This page harnesses the power of social media to help make those connections," Rusche said.
