Help the Alberta AgriSystems Living Lab assess impacts

Farmers and ranchers across Alberta and the Peace region of B.C. are invited to take part in a new survey conducted by the Alberta AgriSystems Living Lab.

The survey is designed to track how the adoption of beneficial management practices (BMPs) has changed since the Living Lab started in 2022.

The results will help program leaders evaluate the impact of the Living Lab and the progress being made on the ground.

Bringing research to reality

Alberta AgriSystems Living Lab has focused on creating partnerships between producers and researchers to demonstrate management practices that improve production and profitability, while benefiting the environment.

Alberta Beef Producers is the lead organization of the Alberta AgriSystems Living Lab, in partnership with crop commissions, other beef organizations, non-governmental groups, research institutions, and other agricultural industry stakeholders.

Results from the survey will help inform potential future agri-environmental programming along with related government policy and support. The survey takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes to complete. Responses can be based on top-of-mind knowledge, and producers do not need to look up records to participate.
