New leadership and members for Protein Industries Canada

Protein Industries Canada has a fresh face leading their Board. Enter Tyler Groeneveld, from the well-known Corteva Agriscience. He's been with them since the beginning of 2018.

In Tyler's words, “It’s a thrilling journey ahead. With teamwork, we're focusing on innovation and growth in food, feed, and more. Let's make Canada proud!”

But don't worry, Frank Hart, our inaugural Chair, isn't going anywhere. He’s sticking around on the board. He says, “I've loved my time leading and now it's Tyler's moment. The goal? Boosting Canada’s plant world.”

Oh, and the board's expanding. Welcome aboard, Dr. Anja Geitmann from McGill, Dori Gingera-Beauchemin, our farmer friend, Jacqueline Khayat of Virentia, and Cargill's Jennifer Marchand. A big thank you to our departing members for their dedication.

Tyler gave a warm nod to Frank, stating, “Your leadership was a game-changer, Frank. Thanks for setting the stage!”

Recently, they had an event in Edmonton. A cool collaboration of $20 million with Innovate UK and Yves Potvin, his speech was the talk of the town.
