Options To Stretch Forage Supplies

As mentioned on yesterday’s program, the cool dry conditions across most of the province have slowed forage growth in pastures and hay fields. If it stays dry, Barry Yaremcio, beef and forage specialist at the Ag-Info Centre, says the amount of growth will be limited and it is possible that pastures will run out much earlier than normal. I asked Yaremcio about options for producers.
