Pricing Standing Hay

As we get further into the growing season, first cut hay crops will be coming off. But how do you come up with a fair price for standing hay? To answer that question, we’re speaking with Dean Dyck, farm business management specialist with Alberta Agriculture. Dean, I understand it’s not easy to establish hay prices.

G.S. Dunn Dry Mustard Millers has received an Agri-Processing Investment Tax Credit (APITC) of $3.1 million for investing approximately $30 million in the expansion of its mustard milling facility in Bow Island. The project created about 34 new jobs and allowed for access to two new markets in Asia.
