Reducing The Risk Of Ruminal Acidosis When Grazing Corn

On yesterday’s program, we heard from Dr. Bart Lardner from the Western Beef Development Centre on why some producers are adopting corn grazing. While there are benefits to grazing corn, he says cattle producers need to be cautious of ruminal acidosis. He adds recent work at the Western Beef Development Centre has looked at ways of reducing the risk.
