Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners Opens John Deere Technical School in Wentzville, Mo.

Wentzville, Mo. – Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners (Farm Equipment's 2021 Dealership of the Year) announces the opening of the SNP Career Academy focused on the technical training of service technicians for John Deere Ag & Turf equipment. This first-of-its-kind training program for a John Deere dealer will prepare students to enter the workforce after a 9-month intensive curriculum. Classes started September 1 in a recently converted 55,000-square-foot facility in Wentzville.

All 25 students in the SNP Career Academy are paid employees of the company. In addition to training, students also receive free housing, uniforms, and $10,000 worth of tools. The SNP Career Academy curriculum is focused on accelerated training in equipment mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical skills without the burden of debt to pay for education.

Industry-experienced instructions, certified by John Deere, will prepare students for a successful career working on John Deere equipment ranging from lawnmowers to combines and row crop tractors. Instructor, Kyle Lympus, is excited about this opportunity, “My role is to help create and launch this program from the ground up for SNP and their technicians. I feel that we are about to make history with the new training program and its curriculum. What a great way for Sydenstricker Nobbe to invest in their future.”
