Advanced Seed Tender Offers Added Reach and Smart Unloading Options

Unverferth has added new features to its Parker 3620R Seed Tender.

Designed to enhance efficiency and flexibility for modern farmers, it features a 21-foot-long conveyor, providing extended reach to accommodate larger and taller planters.

The tender includes a split tank, allowing farmers to store and transport two seed varieties in one hopper and keeping them in the field longer during the busy planting season.

Farms.com recently met with Andy Unverferth, director of marketing for Unverferth Manufacturing, to learn more about the new upgrades to its Parker 3620R.

A new dynamic scale system is now available, featuring an auto-unload function that allows users to set a specific amount of seed to be dispensed automatically. Once the programmed amount is released, the system stops, preventing overflows and waste.

Additional features include an electric lift for conveyor adjustment, an integrated scale system, and a talc and graphite applicator that applies lubricants to the seed during unloading.

The 8-inch-wide conveyor provides unloading speeds of up to 35 bushels per minute, ensuring rapid seed transfer. This allows farmers to fill planters quickly and return to the field without delays.
