Precision Agriculture Conference Will Showcase Innovations and Practical Farm Results.

The Farms.com Precision Agriculture Conference & Ag Technology Showcase will host a large group world-class precision agriculture professionals and producers in Saskatoon on October 25, 2017 at the Radisson Hotel Saskatoon.  The conference will include an agenda packed with visiting and local industry experts who will be providing both keynote presentations and a wide range of  “how-to” precision agriculture workshops.

Farm Credit Canada is a major sponsor of the Farms.com Western Precision Agriculture Conference & Ag Technology Showcase.

“Canadian Agriculture is fortunate to have Farm Credit Canada and they are committed to fostering innovation.” says Farms.com Vice President, Joe Dales.  “We are looking forward to working with Farm Credit Canada to help farmers and the agriculture industry to adopt practical leading edge technologies and precision agriculture practices quickly that will improve profitability on the farm. “

With commodity price volatility, farmers need to find ways to generate the most value from their crops and land.  Learning to harness proven new innovations and technologies can lead to reducing costs and increasing yields and efficiencies.

The conference will provide networking opportunities between farmers and experts to meet with one another to exchange best practices experiences and explore new ideas related to precision agriculture.  There will be a tradeshow with exhibits from leading companies where experts and farmers can also get demonstrations, interact and share information. The conference will be valuable to farmers, agronomists and retailers as well as industry professionals that want to provide innovative new products and services to the agriculture sector.

Farms.com has successfully hosted four sold-out Precision Agriculture conferences in recent years and this event is the first one to be held in Saskatoon.
