Putting the Precision Agriculture Puzzle Together for Profits

Integrating machinery, collecting data, working with software and making sound agronomic decisions are some of the pieces

by Denise Faguy, Farms.com

Many farmers have found getting started with Precision Agriculture to be a confusing and complex task like putting together a difficult puzzle.  Integrating machinery, collecting data, working with software and making sound agronomic decisions involves a multi step process before you can begin using precision ag on your fields.

The 4th annual Precision Agriculture Conference & Ag Technology Showcase, in London Ontario on January 31-Feb 1, 2017, can help connect like-minded innovative farmers, as well as with industry leaders in the field to simplify the path forward.

The 2017 Conference will focus on using the new technologies to generate more profitable operations.  Farmers are starting to ask questions that precision agriculture can help answer.  How can farmers get started in a manageable way?   What software can farmers use to manage and mine their data?  What precision agronomic decisions should be made first?
