Cattle Markets Trending Higher

The cattle markets have been trending upwards, with prices much higher than they were a year ago.

That according to Brian Perillat, Manager and Senior Analyst with Canfax.

He says they're seeing big volumes of cattle come to market during this fall run.

"With these calf prices as strong as they are and just tight supplies of feed, we have seen calves come to market," commented Perillat. "They like the prices, so it makes that decision fairly easy."
