Charges laid in connection to a cattle theft in southeast Saskatchewan

A 62-year-old man from Sedley—half an hour southeast of Regina— has been charged with cattle theft and attempting to hold cattle found astray.

The charges against Scott Cunningham were made following a report of missing cattle on an acreage September 4th.

An investigation was conducted by Fillmore RCMP, the RCMP’s Livestock Investigator and Livestock Services of Saskatchewan. It was determined that six cattle were stolen.

Cunningham will appear in Weyburn Provincial Court on November 20th.
