Dry Conditions Early in the Week

The front that moved through the Southeast last night and today will usher in drier conditions for a few days before rain returns to the region. The heaviest rain will be in the eastern Carolinas, which really need it, by mid-week. Week 2 looks like it will be wetter and warmer than usual across most of the region, but there are no clear signals for what to expect the second half of June. The tropics look like they will remain quiet for now, not surprising for so early in the season.
