Ottawa and Quebec Offer Financial Assistance to Aliments Tristan to Implement a Quality Management System

 
The governments of Canada and Quebec are supporting improved competitiveness in food processing enterprises.
 
Jean-Claude Poissant, Parliamentary Secretary to the federal Minister of Agriculture and Agri-food, and Laurent Lessard, Quebec Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, have announced financial support of up to $76,263 to Aliments Tristan to carry out its project to implement a quality management system meeting HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) standards.
 
The funding comes from the Levier program of the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, jointly financed under the Growing Forward 2 agreement.
