AI tool and BioVerified™ update improve crop protection choices
WinField® United has introduced a new AI-powered tool called Oz to help farmers and agricultural retailers make faster and more informed crop protection decisions. Along with this launch, the company has also updated its BioVerified™ designation, which identifies trusted biological products for agricultural use.

Farmers and retailers are facing increasing pressure to improve efficiency and reduce costs. The Oz tool helps address these challenges by providing quick agronomic recommendations. It uses data collected from years of research and combines it with product label information to offer useful suggestions in seconds. This allows users to make better decisions during the growing season.
Oz is designed mainly for corn and soybean crops. It can answer questions related to herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and adjuvants. The tool works best when users provide clear details, as this helps generate more accurate recommendations. If needed, it also asks follow-up questions to improve its suggestions.
The tool is built using information from WinField® United’s detailed crop protection guide. By making this knowledge easier to access, Oz helps agronomists choose suitable products for specific field conditions. This can support better yield results and lower production costs for farmers.
In addition to Oz, WinField® United continues to improve its BioVerified™ program. This program was created to help users identify reliable biological products, which can sometimes be difficult to evaluate. In 2026, three new products were added to the list: Boosten™ biostimulant, Neovo™ insecticide and nematicide, and N Stryke™ microbial soil amendment. These products help improve plant health, protect crops from pests, and support soil quality.
All BioVerified™ products are tested through WinField® United’s research network. This ensures they perform well under real farming conditions. The updates aim to provide farmers and retailers with verified solutions before the planting season begins.
