Kubota KATR - Pioneering industrial tech at CES 2025

Kubota has been honored with the Best of Innovation Award at the CES 2025 Innovation Awards for its Kubota KATR, a first-of-its-kind all-terrain robot. This award is a testament to Kubota’s commitment to excellence and innovation in the industrial sector, particularly in agricultural and construction applications.

Engineered for stability and versatility, the KATR features a four-wheeled design with a cargo deck that maintains balance across uneven surfaces, ideal for work in complex agricultural and construction sites. Its stability control system actively adjusts each wheel and leg, ensuring optimal performance even on sloped terrains.

The robot’s design allows for operation via remote control or a built-in controller, providing flexibility for users. It can carry loads up to 129 kg and operates with either electric or combustion engines, demonstrating Kubota’s dedication to providing options that meet various customer needs.

Judges at CES 2025, consisting of industry experts from different fields, recognized the Kubota KATR for its innovative approach to solving practical problems in demanding environments. This recognition highlights Kubota’s role in pushing the boundaries of technology and design in machinery.

Visitors to CES 2025, held in Las Vegas, Nevada, from January 7-10, can explore more about Kubota’s innovations and their implications for the agriculture and construction industries at the Kubota exhibit.
