Allflex Acquires German Technology Company Agrident

The blending of two technologically-focused companies to help move agriculture innovation forward
 
Allflex, part of the Antelliq Group, announces its acquisition of Agrident, the German-based agricultural technology company specializing in RFID data capture systems used in process control and animal management systems worldwide. 
 
Agrident was established in 1997 and has grown to become a leading provider of RFID technology for the electronic animal identification market. Their fixed and mobile reader technology offers advanced data capture features for management and traceability and has a worldwide reputation for excellence and superior performance. They are also recognized for their strong commitment to customer requirements, and a high level of support and service.
 
Their dedicated team of engineers, with a proven track-record in developing new readers and experience in electronic technologies like UHF, will further strengthen Allflex’s R&D capabilities and customer offering as a global leader in smart and intelligent identification and monitoring systems for the modern livestock industry.
