Arbitrator awards 7.1% increase to Ontario grape growers

After a lengthy negotiation that included the exchange of supply and demand numbers, it was agreed that an appointed Arbitrator would settle grape prices for 2025. On October 31, following three days of hearings, the Arbitrator has ruled in favour of the Grape Growers of Ontario's final offer, with an overall price increase of 7.1%*.

*Juice grapes (Classes 1, 2 &3) will also receive a 7.1% increase for 2025.
eGrape will be fully updated with the 2025 prices by Wednesday, November 5. All grapes for icewine and grapes harvested on or before November 7, 2025 are required to be paid for on Friday, November 14, 2025.
