Attend the Annual Middlesex Agriculture Hall of Fame 2019 Induction Ceremony:
 
The Middlesex County Agricultural Hall of Fame, founded in 2000, recognizes the history and tradition of agriculture in Middlesex County, recognizing the those who have excelled in agriculture and service in Middlesex County and beyond. There have been seventy individuals that have been recognized for their contributions, to date. 
We are excited to announce that this year marks the twentieth induction ceremony. The induction ceremony will be held in the Carousel Room (Slots Building, 2 nd Level) at the Western Fair District on Wednesday March 6 th , 2019 at 11:30am. New Show Manager:
 
Bridget Mahon joined the Consumer/Trade Show  Department of the Western Fair District in 2018 and has been diligently working with the Farm Show since her arrival. Ms. Mahon’s goal is to “experience and interact with the show’s exhibitors and customers; learning what enhancements they would like to see, what would generate greater return on investment for their businesses and what would keep them engaged and attending in the future. I’m proud to be a part of the Western Fair Association and the tradition of the Farm Show, and I thank out-going show manager Cheron Chamberlain for her work on growing the show and building the very important relationships between our show team, our exhibitors and our customers. The show team and I realize how valuable this event is to farmers and agribusiness across the region, and we are committed to ensuring that the London Farm Show continues to evolve and remain innovative, while still providing premium exhibitors and big brand equipment that meets customer and industry expectations.” Look for Ms. Mahon on the busy show floors of the Agriplex and the BMO Centre getting to know patrons, producers and exhibitors.
 
Speaker Stages:
 
The 2019 Farm Show is excited to add additional speakers to our Pride Seeds Education Stage, with its’ new location in the BMO Centre. Topics include: Commodity Outlooks with Moe Agostino of Farms.com daily as he discusses 2019 Market Outlooks. We are also excited to welcome Lynsay Beavers from the Canadian Dairy Network, speaking on genetic selection for dairy hoof health, and Aaron Breimer of Veritas Inc., speaking on Local Agronomic Case Studies, and of course of presenting sponsor, Farm Credit Canada, who will have AgExpert and Product Specialist Richard Kuntz speaking on building a foundation of trust for data management in Canadian Agriculture. Our lounge sponsor Corteva AgriscienceTM, Agriculture Division of DowDuPont is also back this year with a newly revamped lounge in the Agriplex, focusing on drop-in agronomy topics by Pioneer and Corteva experts from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. each day of the show, with refreshments. 
 
Welcome Dairy Congress Exhibitors:
 
The Farm Show is pleased to welcome our Dairy Congress exhibitors to the Farm  Show as the two events amalgamate for the events dates of March 6 th , 7 th and 8 th , 2019. Check out Dairy industry exhibitors, products and technologies, along with state-of-the-art robotics. Bring your Appetite: Clear your calendars for Wednesday March 6th and enjoy dinner and a night of racing at The Raceway at Western Fair District’s Top of the Fair buffet. Enjoy the Raceway Buffet Dinner from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., followed by an exciting night of live racing at the discounted rate of $24.99 plus tax per ticket. Fun for the Kids:
 
Many families and parents will remember coming to the Farm Show as a child and seeing all the large equipment, and this year will be no different. In addition to equipment and farm displays, the Elgin County Farm Safety Council will have display information and colouring activities on safety on the Farm, specifically for kids.

New Equipment:
 
The show is receiving confirmations of new equipment daily. Please check our website regularly for updates on new equipment, such as HFL’s Biomass Builder Row Unit, which is a new side unit for dress and interseeding in corn and will be rolling onto the fields this Spring and Summer and will be on display at the show.
