Vylor brand to lead advanced seeds genetics and innovation

Corteva has announced that its advanced seed and genetics business will be branded as Vylor Inc. The new company was previously was known as SpinCo. Corteva plans to complete the separation in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Vylor will focus on developing advanced seed technologies and genetic solutions for farmers worldwide. The company holds more than 4,000 germplasm patents and over 2,000 biotechnology patents. Its work is based on elite plant genetics and advanced biotechnology research.

The company’s innovation pipeline includes proprietary hybrid wheat, improved gene editing tools, multi disease resistant corn, and next generation biofuel crops. These technologies aim to support both food production and energy needs while improving farm productivity.

Vylor will use advanced scientific expertise to strengthen its core seed business. It will also explore expansion into additional row crops and future agricultural opportunities. The goal is to help farmers feed and fuel a growing global population.

The Vylor brand reflects its strong roots in agricultural science. The logo design highlights genetics through a chromosome inspired symbol. Its color palette represents the heritage of well-known agricultural brands connected to Corteva.

"Vylor traces its roots back a century, to a single idea: that innovation could transform agriculture, and with it, the world. This belief - in the power of science to advance agriculture and help farmers feed and fuel a growing population - remains our North Star," said future Vylor CEO Chuck Magro.

"From food security to energy security, powered by groundbreaking technology, elite germplasm and an advanced product portfolio, Vylor will be uniquely positioned to help solve some of the world's toughest challenges. The new brand reflects both this ambition and the determination to achieve it," said Magro.

Vylor will launch with the world’s largest seed production network and industry leading market access. Its brands hold top market positions in major crops across global regions.
