Maximus will be able to increase its productivity by automating its production

The Government of Canada awards $125,000 in financial assistance to this business on Montréal's South Shore
 
SAINT-BRUNO-DE-MONTARVILLE, QC - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED) -- 4458664 Canada Inc., operating under the Maximus trademark, is an innovative company in the agricultural technology sector. To ensure its growth, it will receive a repayable contribution of $125,000 from Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions. With this financial assistance, the company will be able to complete a project that will improve its competitiveness by acquiring leading-edge technologies to support its growth in local and international markets.
 
The funding was announced today by Michel Picard, Member of Parliament for Montarville. More specifically, the Government of Canada's support will allow Maximus to acquire cutting-edge technological equipment to further automate the production processes of its control system for the livestock sector.
 
With over 25 years of experience in both IT and agriculture, Maximus is an innovative company that employs 60 people at its facilities on Montréal's South Shore. The centralized control system developed by the SME allows for the automated management of a wide range of animal housing parameters. This product contributes to animal welfare, optimizes production outcomes and improves environmental performance through better use of energy and resources. To provide its customers with 100% integrated management solutions, Maximus has also developed unique software – Maximus Software – that collects all relevant data for production analysis in real time, thereby enhancing decision-making.
