Saskatchewan Cattlemen Have a Couple of More Week to Apply for Fall Marketed Calves Price Insurance

The deadline for Saskatchewan cattlemen to apply for price insurance for fall-marketed calves is fast approaching.
 
Program co-ordinator Jody Griffin says cow-calf producers have until May 31st to apply for price insurance for calves to be sold this fall.
 
Last year, she says the program saw 64 per-cent of the producers who bought the insurance in a claim position.
