Weather Outlook For May 19, 2015

By Kyle Imhoff

Rains soothing some regional shortfalls but dryer and cooler conditions anticipated through the weekend.

Showers and thunderstorms in advance of a cold front brought a brief reprieve from the drier-than-normal conditions that have been the norm the past few months over eastern Pennsylvania. But, dry conditions will ensue for the remainder of the week and the weekend before the chance for showers returns early next week.

A cool-down will occur for the middle of the week as highs will be predominantly in the 60’s and lows in the 40’s on Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures will slowly moderate through the weekend but will remain below normal through Sunday. Scattered showers and storms will arrive from the south/west late Sunday evening into early next week. Unsettled weather will continue through the middle to latter portions of the week with temperatures remaining near normal through next Friday.
