Faba Bean Feed Benchmark

 
Prices for barley again rose slightly in Manitoba and Saskatchewan by $5-10/T but declined in Alberta by that same amount. 
 
Wheat prices remained unchanged in the eastern Prairies but fell by $15/T in Alberta. Corn values remained largely unchanged but corn DDGS prices continued to escalate by $20-30/T across the Prairies based on limited supplies and lack of trucking availability.
 
Protein prices (canola meal and soybean meal) remained unchanged over the past two weeks. Field peas traded in the $240-245/T range in Alberta and Saskatchewan while faba beans commanded prices of $240/T and $255/T in Saskatchewan and Manitoba respectively.
