Judging what’s happening in the U.S. from Britain is difficult, he said
A popular figure in British television and agriculture could be making his way to the United States to speak with American farmers.
Jeremy Clarkson, the star of Clarkson’s Farm, indicated as much on social media.
“I think I may pop over next year to meet some American farmers,” he said in an Oct. 3 X post. “It’s hard to judge what’s happening there from over here.”

His post came after another user asked for Clarkson’s opinion on “the situation of American farmers and Trump’s actions.”
Other users took the opportunity to provide Clarkson with ideas about how to structure his potential U.S trip.
“If you do come, visit a lot of farms,” Jeff Abraham suggested. “Ohio is different from Idaho and so on, it will give you a good idea of the state policies on top of our federal policies.”
Another X user suggested Clarkson visit the Midwest.
“Jeremy be sure to check out farming in Iowa and Illinois,” Mary Wehmeier said. “The massive scale of farming there will surprise you.”
Some family farms have already extended invitations to Clarkson.
Brelsford Family Farms in St. Perry, Iowa, said it would welcome a visit from the British host and farmer.
“Stop by Brelsford Family Farms,” the farm said in a Facebook post. Would love to see Jeremy full throttle a John Deere 9620RX with 130,000 lbs of corn in tow down a field.”
With a Clarkson visit to U.S. farms in 2026 at top of mind, Farms.com wants to know what you’d tell him about the current state of agriculture in America.
