People with a passion for the agriculture can sign up to become an agvocate free of charge, and will receive resources, tips, and tools about how to be a spokesperson for the industry.

Agriculture More Than Ever Manager, Candace Hill, says their agvocates come from all areas of the ag industry.

"We have people from coast to coast, so from B.C. to the Maritimes, and everything from young teenagers to older individuals. And it's fantastic because there are so many people who are able to essentially tell the food story to people of various ages right across Canada."

The organization has been around since 2012, and celebrated five years back in May. Hill says, everyone in the ag sector has a story to tell.

"People outside of agriculture are genuinely curious about where food comes from and how it's produced. There are various tools and resources on our website, that can help people out with different talking tips and those types of things."
