Farm At Hand Partners With Univar To Launch Platform For Agronomists

Farm At Hand announced today that it is launching – Farm At Hand Agronomy – a web and iOS platform for Agronomists that will allow for easier collaboration with farmers on planning and scouting. The platform is being launched in partnership with Univar.

"Farmers have been sharing the information they track in Farm At Hand with their agronomists for a long time," says Mark Lepp, CEO of Farm At Hand, "Our purpose as a company is to help make things simpler and more profitable for farmers. Improving how they collaborate with key advisors is a natural progression of our offering."

Farm At Hand Agronomy will offer tools to help agronomists spend less time on administration and more time providing their expertise and collaborating with farmers in an app they are already using. This will include a 30,000 ft. Crop Planning tool and an online-offline iOS app for on-the-go scouting and reporting.

"The partnership is a no-brainer," says Kevin Jacobson of Univar, "Farm At Hand Agronomy takes a different approach to farm management software. It helps maximize yields and ultimately farm income by bringing agronomists closer to the planning process and execution field-by-field. We know that the tool will add major value to the retail and farm customers within our network." Univar is looking forward to making these valuable services available to their Network dealer members.

Farm At Hand Agronomy is available for consulting agronomists and retail outlets in 2 different service packages.

"We know that better decisions come from better information and improved collaboration between experts," says Lepp. "We are very excited to be collaborating with Univar on this platform. Ultimately our farmers control who they share their information with, this is about empowering them to work more closely with their trusted advisors simply in one place."
