GRAIN FARMERS OF ONTARIO ELECT NEW CHAIR OF THE BOARD

Grain Farmers of Ontario, the province’s largest commodity organization, representing Ontario’s 28,000 barley, corn, oat, soybean and wheat farmers, today announces Markus Haerle has been named the new Chair of Board, effective immediately.

Markus Haerle is Grain Farmers of Ontario’s Director for District 14. “Grain farming has a powerful legacy, but is also some of the most progressive agriculture you will find. I look forward to serving as Chair of Grain Farmers of Ontario and to advocating on behalf of grain farmers in Ontario, and across Canada,” said Markus Haerle. “It is vital that we continue to showcase the important work being done by grain farmers and to create strong ambassadors for this group.”
