John Deere Adds Generation 4 CommandCenter™ Premium Activation To Precision Ag Lineup

From Machinefinder News

Premium Activation lets equipment operators more efficiently capture, manage, and transfer data.

John Deere announced on Dec. 9 that it would be adding new precision ag solutions to its lineup with Generation 4 CommandCenter Premium Activation. With this update, operators will be able to access AutoTrac ™, Documentation and Section Control, along with vehicle functionality, from their 4600 CommandCenter-integrated display.

"This latest update to our precision ag solutions capitalizes on the positive feedback we've received on the redesign of the CommandCenter," said Jarred Karnei, tactical marketing manager at John Deere. "The 4600 CommandCenter gives customers the ability to capture more accurate data while making it easier to manage, document and transfer that data. Ultimately, this allows them to make more informed input decisions that directly enhance the operation of machines and improve the yield, productivity and profitability of their operations."

In addition to AutoTrac, Documentation and Section Control access, Generation 4 CommandCenter Premium Activation will include Wireless Data Transfer via JDLink Connect. This will allow operators to stream information from machines to their John Deere Operations Center.

"Customers can now quickly change items when they switch fields, and double-check field, machine and prescription attributes all from a single convenient location," Karnei continued. "All of these new features in the 4600 CommandCenter help make operators more efficient while increasing their productivity and data management capabilities."

Those who are interested in Generation 4 CommandCenter Premium Activation can now have it factory or field installed.
