Province Releases Early Fall Frost Report

Manitoba Agriculture has released an early Fall Frost Report after sub-zero temperatures were recorded in the province earlier this week.

The hardest hit area was the northwest, although there were portions of southwest Manitoba which were also affected.

Crops susceptible to frost at present maturity are canola, soybeans and silage corn.

Frost on greenfeed and corn can increase nitrates in feed.
