Soil moistures heading into winter

First off today we continue our interview with Ralph Wright, head of agro-meteorology with Alberta Agriculture and Forestry, about soil moisture reserves heading into winter. Yesterday, Wright talked about the start of the growing season, and three major frosts that came in August and September. Then, says Wright, it was the early snow.
