More and more farmers are looking at how to generate their own electricity and sell it to the grid. A number of Generating Electricity from the Sun workshops are being held which will address this opportunity and cover solar electric system siting, installation, permitting process and economics. The presenter is Rob Harlan, executive director of the Solar Energy Society of Alberta.
