Soybeans Popular Choice For Foodgrains Bank Projects

 
Manitoba Rep Harold Penner expects to see about 40 grow projects in the province this year, most of which have already been seeded.
 
He says many of the fields will share a common crop.
 
"It's amazing how many acres of soybeans we have. Soybeans are making up at least a third of the total acreage this year and then there's wheat and canola and then a variety of other smaller acreage crops."
