FarmFacts and AGCO Announce New Wayline Converter Tool to Improve Portability of Automatic Guidance Data

Developed by FarmFacts, the tool will save farmers time and effort when using multiple brand guidance products

FarmFacts, a BayWa company, and AGCO Corporation (NYSE:AGCO), a world-leading manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment, announced today a new web-based tool that will enable farmers to easily exchange and view geographical information from multiple manufacturers within one machine terminal.

One of the first of its kind in the industry, the NEXT Farming Wayline Converter - powered by Fuse® allows farmers to quickly convert data such as straight waylines and field boundaries from one brand guidance system to that of another brand, saving farmers time and effort when using multiple brand guidance tools. At launch, the focus of the tool is facilitating data for automatic guidance technology.

FarmFacts and AGCO have been working together to develop the tool, which is debuting exclusively to FarmFacts and AGCO customers this Spring, with other brand providers potentially becoming available in the future. Customers will be able to convert the available geo-data information from supported brand guidance products, for use in AGCO’s Auto-Guide™, Auto-Guide 3000 and VarioGuide automatic guidance systems. These new guidance systems allow customers the choice of using a NovAtel or Trimble receiver.

As part of Fuse and its open approach to precision agriculture, AGCO is focused on helping customers optimize their farms through seamless technology integration and connectivity. Central to this strategy is AGCO’s unique partnering model, joining forces with other trusted providers in the agriculture industry and facilitating connections through tools like NEXT Farming Wayline Converter - powered by Fuse. The tool can be accessed by visiting the Fuse website at www.agcotechnologies.com/wayline.
